HCGPrevision™ provides a robust Business Performance Management application that is fully integrated for Analytics, Budgeting and Forecasting. Built on a single-store SQL Server enterprise database, it is a full-fledged feature-rich application based on 100% .NET managed code.

User Interface
The user interface for HCGPrevision™ is neither a Windows forms interface that users must learn from the ground up, nor a limited browser-based interface. The user interface is Microsoft Excel. Not "Excel-like", but true Microsoft Excel, leveraging the features that already exist in Excel as well as users' existing knowledge and skills for working in Excel. This assures that users have a low learning curve and a high level of comfort with the application as soon as they begin using it.

Application Code
While Excel is the interface for the application, the code for the application does not reside in Excel in the form of macros or VBA modules. Instead, HCGPrevision™ has a solid, robust external code-base written in 100% .NET managed code.

Data Store
The data store for the application is a Microsoft SQL Server database built specifically for business performance management tasks including analytics, budgeting and planning. It includes built-in functionality for consolidation of data from multiple disparate data sources, unlimited years of actual/historical, budget and forecast data, and accommodates both financial and non-financial data and drivers for the budgeting and planning (B&P) process.
